I am the only agent you will deal with here, from the first call to the closing table. I hire professionals for photography and video because that work deserves someone who does it properly, but nobody else is picking up when you call and nobody else is handed your file halfway through.
About Kennedy
I grew up here. Lexington native, deep roots in the Bluegrass, and since 2018 I have closed a little over fifty transactions across nine Central Kentucky cities, ranging from a $160,000 townhouse to a $1.4 million custom build in Nicholasville.
I came to this from a corporate background, which sounds like a footnote until you are three weeks into a transaction and something has gone sideways. It taught me to read a contract slowly, keep a process moving when four people are waiting on each other, and say plainly when something is not going the way we hoped.
Most of my work falls into two shapes. Around Lexington it is resale, which covers the brick ranch on a quiet street and the first house someone can genuinely afford as readily as it covers Ashland Park. In Richmond it is new construction, mostly Magnolia Pointe and Shiloh Cove, where I know which builders will adjust a plan and which lots are worth waiting for. I have sold thirteen homes in Magnolia Pointe alone, which is less a boast than an explanation of why I have opinions about the lots.
What you will find is that I would rather over-explain than have you nod along. If a price is wrong I will tell you in the first week rather than watch a listing go stale, and if a house has a problem I will point at it before you spot it yourself, because you will spot it eventually and it lands better coming from me.
Outside of work you will usually find me with my family and my pets, generally somewhere outdoors. I hike, I practice yoga, and I give time to a few causes that matter to me.
